HEARTSAVER CPR AED

Course content:  

• Adult, child and infant CPR and AED use

• Recognize when someone needs CPR

• Describe when and how to help a choking adult or child

• Use of barrier devices for all ages and the use of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

• Demonstrate giving effective breaths by using mouth to mouth or a mask for all ages

• For those who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements. This would include teachers, fitness trainers, coaches, and babysitters. Those working in daycare and preschools should take the Pediatric First Aid with CPR/AED.
